They were introduced to oversee the industry and its use of Low E and Safety Glass combined with recommended installation methods and standards.

Document L explained
Document L is the section of the latest government Building Regulations that stipulates that all new windows must comply to a certain energy saving level to help reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions. FENSA issue documentation confirming that your replacement windows comply to the new standard. If you sell your property this document must be passed onto the purchaser.
